On Monday at 5:50 p.m.,, Pettis County Deputies responded to the 600 block of McVey Road for an attempt to locate a male suspect for the Sedalia Police Department. After arriving at the residence, the suspect was located and transported to the Pettis County Jail on a 24-hour hold. Charges were to be submitted by SPD.
On Sunday, Pettis County Deputies took a property damage report in the 4700 block of South Limit. The reporting party said that while their vehicle was in the parking lot, someone kicked the side of it, causing damage to the passenger door. The suspect was identified as Timothy L. Rife, who was located a short time later. Rife was placed into custody and placed on a 24-hour hold, pending state charges of property damage and resisting arrest.

JONES COUNTY, Miss. (WDAM) - The Tri County Water Association has issued a boil water notice for Jones County residents living on several roads.
Customers on McVey Road, Davis Hyatt Road, Monroe Knight Road, Ruffin Road and Craft Road should boil water before consumption.
The Tri County Water Association will notify customers when the water is safe to drink.
