(WMBF) – South Carolina Gov. Henry McMaster will hold a briefing Tuesday afternoon at the mass COVID-19 vaccination clinic happening in Myrtle Beach. According to a press release from McLeod Health, the press conference will be held at 2:30 p.m. at the S.C. Hall of Fame at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center, where McLeod Health’s vaccination event is being held. McMaster will be joined by Myrtle Beach Mayor Brenda Bethune, McLeod Health Seacoast administrator Monica Vehige, and Dr. Matthew Weeks, chief medical officer for McLeod Loris Seacoast.

(WMBF) – McLeod Health Seacoast will hold a vaccine clinic Friday, Feb. 19, in Little River. Officials say it is a first dose clinic for Phase 1a only. A voucher will be required, which will be available while supplies last. According to McLeod Health, 380 vouchers are available for the event. Vouchers will be distributed on Friday beginning at 10 a.m. at the North Myrtle Beach Sports Complex at 150 Citizens Circle in Little River.

(WMBF) - McLeod Health Seacoast plans to vaccinate more than a thousand people ages 70 and older. The hospital will host a mass vaccine clinic at North Myrtle Beach High School on Saturday. The large-scale event is in response to the lack of vaccine access for people living in the north end of Horry County. Monica Vehige, the hospital’s administrator, said they plan to administer 1,500 first doses of the Pfizer vaccine on a first-come-first-served basis.
