(WMBF) – A drive-up COVID-19 vaccine clinic will be held on Saturday in North Myrtle Beach, to give better access to those living in the north end of Horry County. McLeod Health Seacoast is hosting the vaccine clinic at North Myrtle Beach High School for those in Phase 1a. WMBF News has received a lot of messages from people who are upset that there aren’t any vaccine providers on the north end of Horry County, making it hard for those 70 and older to get vaccinated.

McLeod Health Vaccinates Its First Physicians for COVID-19

Posted submitted to Times McLeod Health Clarendon vaccinated its first physicians for COVID-19 on Thursday, December 17, 2020. Dr. Catherine Rabon, Chief Medical Officer for McLeod Health Clarendon and an Emergency Medicine Physician, Dr. Steven Nathanson, received the first doses of the vaccine at McLeod Health Clarendon.  Following the receipt of her vaccine, Dr. Rabon said, “While there is always some anxiety about the unknown, I am excited to have the opportunity to receive the vaccine as this is one more weapon in our armamentarium for our fight against COVID-19. Anything I can do to help keep my patients, my family and myself safe is well worth it.”
