CHELMSFORD At Friendship Park, pint-sized readers took a break from running and playing on a recent Tuesday afternoon, when a bright white van arrived, carrying books and goodwill from the Chelmsford Public Library.
Among those who checked out the selections for adults and kids on May 11 was Kerryn Mui, and her son, Andrew, 4.
After a careful selection, Andrew chose three hardcover books, including Creepy Pair of Underwear! by Aaron Reynolds.
For mother and son, it was the second time looking at offerings from the pop-up library, which travels to different stops in town three days a week.
