Mr Henery has been on the approved place names register since July 14 1999.
The family is now seeking the memorial naming of a barbecue shelter in Lions Park, Gladstone.

Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk has submitted the State Governmentâs proposal for a regional quarantine facility â of which Toowoomba and Gladstone could be possible sites â to Prime Minister Scott Morrison.
A spokeswoman for the Premierâs office said consideration of a regional quarantine facility was consistent with a recommendation of the Halton Review â a national review of hotel quarantine â which said the Commonwealth should consider establishing a national facility for quarantine.
The review also recommended the development of new models of quarantine for consideration by National Cabinet.
âAs such, the Premier has recently sent further correspondence to the Prime Minister on the matter,â the spokeswoman said.

An opening month has been confirmed for the new bowling alley at the Central Lane Hotel.
Construction for the $4 million redevelopment started in November 2020, and it is expected to open this April. An opening month has been confirmed for the new bowling alley at the Central Lane Hotel.
The redevelopment includes a redesign of the ground floor level including the existing gaming area, a new outdoor bar area, a new back of house area, new fit-out upstairs, four AMF bowling lanes and associated infrastructure and carpark.
“My involvement with Legally Blonde’s stage production was absolutely fabulous,” she said.
“The amount of talent and people that came in, some no prior musical experience, and the GECC staff were all amazing.”
“There is incredible talent in the region and the people involved in the arts and culture sector are very warm and welcoming to everyone who comes along,” she said.
Ms Addison’s main commitment is ensuring Legally Blonde goes ahead at full steam, but other than that it should be a relaxing 2021 for the arts veteran.
“I’ve retired so I will be doing some work around the home, hopefully travelling with my partner but always playing music with my friends and learning new music,” she said.
