The royal visitor toured the inpatient unit to look at the facilities and spoke with patients, staff and volunteers. Stories of people involved with St Helena Hospice at its beginning are being recorded and preserved, along with historic photos and film clips, for an exhibition and an online archive project supported by The National Lottery Heritage Fund, thanks to National Lottery players.

Renfrewshire Leisure’s Digital and Library Development Manager, Joyce Higgins ALMOST 200 people have signed up to a library delivery service to get them through the lockdown days. Since launching the scheme last month, Renfrewshire Libraries have made over 100 deliveries of books to those over the age of 70, people with disabilities and families with children. The hard-working staff have been praised for their innovative new service. Staff at Renfrewshire Libraries have been praised for launching the service. They can also suggest and recomment new books depending on readers interests and preferences. One avid book reader from Johnstone described the staff as “life savers in libraries”.
