NEW DELHI: The Congress on Monday alleged that the BJP-led central government s strategy to control the spread of Covid-19 was a monumental failure and said while people are dying across the country the saffron party s leadership is busy campaigning for elections. Congress spokesperson Ajoy Kumar said people of the country will not pardon the BJP for such a dangerous situation and called for scaling up the Covid-19 vaccination drive. The country wants to know, what did the Prime Minister do for the past 385 days, apart from politics? Patients are suffering, patients are dying, what is the Prime Minister planning for the weaker sections of this country? Is there any kind of a safety net, he is going to provide, Kumar asked.

12km tractor rally in Steel City to support farmers | Ranchi News

Jamshedpur: Several pro-farmer outfits organized a 12-km tractor rally in a show of solidarity with farmers protesting along the Delhi borders against the three controversial farm laws. Organized under the banner of Kisan Andolankari Ekjutah Manch (KAEM), the rally with 24 tractors started from Aam Bagan ground in Sakchi and travelled through Sakchi Main Road and reached No. 9 bus stand, moving to the football ground in Mango before returning to Aam Bagan. Jharkhand Gurudwara Prabandhak Committee (JGPC) member Shailendra Singh said the rally covered about 12km. He added that the district police initially did not give permission for the rally, but agreed when the outfit’s leaders revised the route and reduced the distance. The rally commenced at 11.30am and finished at 3pm.
