Several Alspec framing solutions were selected for La Trobe University’s new sports stadium to help create an energy-efficient environment and achieve 6 Star Green Star rating for the facility.
Alspec aluminium framing systems were used to create a light, welcoming and well-ventilated environment at the new Kurrajong Centre for Senior Learning at Springfield Anglican College in Queensland.
“Open, full of light and with incredible amenity” - that’s how the new educational facility was described by local State Member, Charis Mullen who attended the building’s official opening ceremony along with students, teachers, parents and friends of the college.
Designed by Fulton Trotter Architects and constructed by Queensland firm Condev, the new addition to the Springfield campus features a variety of learning and meeting spaces for the college’s senior students.
Various Alspec door and window framing products were specified for the new Faith Lutheran College Sports Centre in the rural community of Plainlands in Queensland’s southeast.
A much-needed multipurpose sports and meeting facility for the 700 students at this growing Queensland College, which had outgrown its existing gathering spaces, the new sports centre designed by Fulton Trotter Architects is spacious enough to accommodate the entire school for graduation and presentation ceremonies.
Known as the Faith Sports Centre, the facility will be used for physical education classes as well as dance, theatre and meetings. The development comprises a north and south wing, each with flexible internal spaces, and connected with a covered outdoor space. Adjacent rooms include fitness and weights training, classroom environments and a feature rock climbing wall.
The new arts centre at Bethany Lutheran Primary School in Raceview, QLD offers the perfect space for children to express themselves creatively while developing valuable skills such as confidence, concentration and teamwork. Students can explore a wide range of dance, drama, visual and media arts within the well-protected and secure arts centre. Completed in 2020, the centre gives students a series of light-filled welcoming spaces where they can explore their creative sides and showcase their efforts.
Located southwest of Brisbane, Bethany Lutheran Primary School teaches children from Prep to Year 6. As a vital addition to their innovative arts learning program, the new centre designed by PW Architects will be used for day-to-day classes as well as for art exhibitions and performances.
