Maharashtra: Five killed as car collides with bus in Ahmednagar

AURANGABAD: Five occupants of a car were killed when their vehicle collided with a bus in Maharashtra s Ahmednagar district in the wee hours of Monday, police said.
The accident took place around 2 am at Devgad Fata, about 60 km from here, when the car heading towards Aurangabad collided head-on with the private bus which was on way to Ahmednagar, an official from Nevasa police station said.

Five car occupants, all residents of the state s Jalna district, died in the accident, the police said.

5 killed in collision between several vehicles on Mumbai - Pune Expressway
At least five people killed and five others were injured in a massive collision between multiple vehicles on Mumbai - Pune Expressway near Khopoli in the Raigarh district of Maharashtra on Monday night.Â
The injured and bodies of the deceased have been taken to Khapoli hospital and MGM hospital, Vashi.
The tragic accident took place at 1 am when speeding cars and a truck, running over the expressway, rammed into each other.

NASHIK: At least 15 labourers were killed and five others sustained injuries when a truck ferrying them overturned in Maharashtra s Jalgaon district early on Monday.
The deceased include six women and two children. The accident took place in Yawal taluka at around 1am.

The injured are being treated at the government hospital in Yawal.
The victims, all labourers from Raver taluka, had come to Yawal to load papaya in the truck.
All the deceased were labourers from Abhoda, Kerhala and Raver in the district.

MUMBAI: As many as 16 persons were killed and five injured after a truck carrying labourers overturned and fell into a roadside pit at Kingaon, near Yawal Taluka in the Jalgaon district of Maharashtra, in the wee hours of Monday.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President Ram Nath Kovind have expressed grief at the incident.
The deceased include two children, aged three and five, and a 15-year-old girl. The victims have been identified as Hussain Muslim Maniyar (30), Sarfaraz Tadvi (32), Digambar Sapkale (55), Narendra Wagh (25), Dildar Tadvi (20), Ashok Wagh (40),
