Work on the flyover took a lot of time to start because the tenders had to be floated six times for some reason or the other NOIDA: Two key infrastructure projects aimed at reducing traffic congestion on busy intersections of the city may be ready a few months before their deadlines. While the Bhangel elevated road was supposed to be completed by December 2022, the deadline for the flyover over Parthala Chowk is June next year. However, Noida Authority officials are confident both these projects could be thrown open for the public in January next year. Rajiv Tyagi, chief general manager of the Authority, said regular monitoring had resulted in these two projects getting fast-tracked. “We are going to deliver both the projects well ahead of their deadlines. Regular visits to the sites have compelled the contractors to put their workers on the job in shifts. Work is going on round-the-clock,” Tyagi said.
