Man dies two weeks after being shot in Chula Vista; police looking for suspect

Print A man who was shot in his neck in Chula Vista nearly two weeks ago died Wednesday morning, and authorities are asking for the public’s help to locate the suspect. Osvaldo Robledo, 38, of El Cajon was shot around 10 p.m. July 8 during an argument outside a home on Bellena Avenue near Montana Road, Chula Vista police said in a news release. He died from his injuries at a hospital Wednesday morning. Police identified a suspect in the shooting, David Flores, 57, of Chula Vista who they said fled to Mexico after the shooting. A warrant has been issued for his arrest.

The Ottawa Herald Arrests  • 8:40 p.m. 03/05, 3400 block of K-68 highway, Zachery Roberts, 21, Paola, was arrested and released on a notice to appear for driving while suspended after being stopped for a traffic infraction.  • 12:32 a.m. 03/05, 2500 block of US-59 highway, Lance Segrist, 37, Osage City, was arrested and released on a notice to appear for circumvention of an ignition interlock device after being stopped for a traffic infraction.  • 11:38 a.m. 03/06, 300 block of K-68 highway, Connie Tucker, 69, Richmond, was arrested in connection with driving while suspended and on a warrant issued by the Garnett Police Department after a traffic stop. Connie was issued a notice to appear for the traffic offense and was released to the Garnett Police Department for the warrant.
