The Night of Power and the Ways of Ascent—Al-Fajr: The Daybreak [Editor’s Note: This article is reprinted from Volume 33, No. 43 and The Final Call will continue to reprint articles written by our late and dear Mother Tynnetta Muhammad.] “The hour drew nigh and the moon was rent asunder.  And if they see a sign, they turn away and say:  Strong enchantment.  And they deny and follow their low desires; and every affair is settled.  And certainly narratives have come to them, which should deter—Consummate wisdom—but warnings avail not;”— Holy Qur’an, Surah 54, verses 1-5 According to the 97th Surah entitled, Al-Qadr: The Majesty, it is believed by the Muslim scholars that the “Night of Power,” refers to a famous night in the month of Ramadan when the Holy Qur’an was first revealed to Prophet Muhammad, may the Peace and Blessings of Allah be Upon Him.  The Holy Qur’an raises the question in verse 2,
