PAOLI, Ind. Police have arrested two women wanted for questioning in a shooting at a Paoli Walmart store Wednesday.
Both Indiana State Police and the Paoli Police Department are investigating the incident. Thursday night, state police announced Allison R. Shields and Bethany M. Amburgey had been arrested in Shively, Kentucky.

(UNDATED) – In October 2020, a Paoli woman was arrested on murder charges after shooting William Dunn, a Bedford woman was arrested on child neglect charges after her daughter suffered burns, and a jury found a Seymour man guilty of child neglect after his son ingested a lethal dose of meth.

A Paoli woman has been charged with murder after she allegedly shot and killed 51-year-old William Dunn in October 2020.

Paoli Police and the Orange County Sheriff’s Department were called to a home in the 830 block of College Hill Street at 7:48 a.m. on October 21, 2020, after a report of a shooting.

355 yard signs furnished by Mikel’s Signs were placed on the courthouse lawn to recognize the Bedford North Lawrence High School graduating Class of 2020.
Due to the unprecedented year dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic, things have not been normal for the 2020 graduating class.
The signs were paid for by Super Clean Car Wash, United Way of South Central Indiana, and other private donors.
(PAOLI) – On Tuesday night, the Paoli Police Department was alerted to shots fired at 122 Monon Drive.
When officers arrived they spoke to the residence and were told that 26-year-old Thomas Zachary Pemberton, of Bedford, had come to the residence and was asked to leave.
While at the home. Pemberton spoke to 22-year-old Damion Young briefly. Young then asked Pemberton to leave. Pemberton reportedly left the home in his vehicle, striking a parked car as he left. Pemberton then drove by the residence several times.
Witnesses told police they then heard gunshots.
Pemberton then drove to a residence in Bedford and was taken to a local hospital. He had suffered a gunshot wound to his neck. Pemberton was then flown to a Louisville Hospital for further treatment.
