A man who police have warned may be “armed and dangerous” after the alleged attempted murder of a woman at a luxury hotel in Sydney’s CBD previously shared photos of himself holding guns.
A warrant has been issued for the arrest of Matthew Donaldson after a 26-year-old woman was allegedly bashed with a sledgehammer at the five-star Primus Hotel late on Tuesday night.

The 41-year-old is described as being of Caucasian appearance, approximately 182 centimetres tall and of a solid build with light brown hair.
The search for Mr Donaldson entered its second day on Thursday with officers scouring Blaxland in the NSW Blue Mountains, 65 kilometres away from the $300-a-night hotel on Pitt Street.
