Over six months Graham offered a total of 9.44 grams of meth and an unknown amount of Ritalin, the summary said. When spoken to by police, Graham said that in some of the messages he was not actually intending to sell meth – he just led the recipient to believe he was, so that he could take their money and rip them off. He also claimed that on one occasion a friend was using his cellphone. At the time of his meth dealing, Graham was waiting to be sentenced on 13 other charges, including for his role in a serious crash in Christchurch last year.

On April 5, Tipene went to “several addresses” in Riversdale, Blenheim. He found an unattended house and entered through a sliding door. He stole electronics and washing detergent. A short time later, Tipene forced entry through a window to another house. The summary said Tipene stole multiple items, including knives and money. Judge appeared in the Blenheim District Court on Tuesday. He yelled at the parking warden telling them to “get the hell out of Picton”, saying “we don’t want your kind here” and that he was “going to get them”. Judge became aware he was in front of a CCTV camera and ran away. Later that day he was outside Fresh Choice in Picton where he was seen yelling at a police officer on the other side of the road. The summary said members of the public started using a different entrance of Fresh Choice to avoid Judge.

A Picton man has been jailed after admitting drink-driving for the 16th time.
A man has been sent to jail after racking up his 15th and 16th drink-driving convictions. Picton man Mark Carroll, 50, was pulled over by police on Buller St in Picton on Christmas Day 2020. A breath test recorded 801 micrograms (mcg) of alcohol per litre of breath, more than three times the legal limit of 250mcg. On March 13 this year, he was again stopped by police, this time on State Highway 1 in Blenheim, recording 1001mcg. A tomahawk was also found in his car.
