New Delhi: Under Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana (PMMY), Mudra loan is extended for a variety of purposes which result in income generation and employment creation like loan for vendors, traders, shopkeepers and other service sector activities.
Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana are extended by Member Lending Institutions viz. Scheduled Commercial Banks, Non Banking Finance Companies and Micro Financial Institutions, registered with Mudra Ltd.

Labour Bureau to complete 4 surveys including one on migrant workers by Oct: Gangwar
NEW DELHI, Dec 30: Labour Minister Santosh Gangwar on Wednesday said the Labour Bureau will launch four all-India level surveys on migrant workers, domestic workers, employment generated by professionals and transport sector in March and complete these studies by October, 2021.
“The Bureau has recently been entrusted with four All India surveys on migrant workers, domestic workers, employment generated by professionals and transport sector which will be launched by early March, 2020 and the results of these will be available by October, 2021,” said Gangwar while addressing the occasion of centenary year celebrations of the Labour Bureau.
