Centro Argentino de Protonoterapia, en el
Instituto Oncológico Roffo. Se trata de un centro que estuvo frenado durante cuatro años en la era de
Mauricio Macri en la presidencia, que permitirá ahora contar con nuevas herramientas de tratamientos contra enfermedades oncológicas y que la Argentina cuente con una tecnología actualmente disponible sólo en 20 países. El CeArP se encuentra lindero a la
Fundación Centro de Diagnóstico Nuclear y frente al Instituto de Oncología Ángel H. Roffo, instituciones con las que estará vinculado para la atención y el abordaje integral de pacientes con cáncer. Cuando el Centro se ponga en marcha permitirá acceder a lo que se considera la forma más avanzada de radioterapia, ya que los haces de protones que se utilizan dejan la mayor parte de su energía en el tumor y preservan los tejidos sanos cercanos, mejorando así la calidad de vida de los pacientes.

Smith received his second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine two weeks ago on April 3. In celebration, he volunteered to help others get vaccinated at St. Mark Missionary Baptist Church in Portsmouth. This is vaccine is important, he said.
Saturday, the church partnered with Hague Pharmacy and Hampton University for a COVID-19 vaccine and testing clinic. The free event offered more than 1,000 first and second doses of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine to people over the age of 16. People could schedule appointments or walkup.
