Collaboration with external experts is an integral aspect of Eurofound’s programme implementation. It has a long tradition in procuring the services from experts. In addition Eurofound has now launched the following call for expressions of interest:
Call for expressions of interest for experts
Eurofound is establishing a list of experts covering the research areas of its Programming Document 2017-2020. Experts may be asked to advise on planned research approaches and methodologies, or to carry out a peer review. Experts on the list can be invited on an ad-hoc basis over a period of maximum 5 years.
Experts will be expected to provide opinions and advice in specific cases, including - but not exclusively - through peer review of Eurofound’s own work, and assisting in the design or academic assessment of projects and tenders. The 2021 Work Programme Of The EU Agency For The Cooperation Of Energy Regulators (ACER) Is Published Date

The Agency’s Programming Document 2021 - 2023, which includes the 2021 Work Programme, was published today following its adoption on 21 December by ACER’s Administrative Board. The document, which also received the favourable opinion of the Agency’s Board of Regulators, is now available online here.
ACER’s priorities for 2021 will continue to be:
The completion of the Internal Energy Market.
The infrastructure challenge.
Longer-term regulatory challenges.
Implementation of the Clean Energy Package.
In 2021 the Agency will no longer be financed solely from the EU budget but also from fees, in line with European Commission Decision of 17 December 2020 on fees due to ACER for collecting, handling, processing and analysing of information reported under the regulation on wholesale market integrity and transparency (REMIT).

Brutal. Cruel. Inhumane. These are just some of the labels that have been applied to the EU’s migration and border control policies over the years, but they have done little to stop law-makers introducing new forms of surveillance, control and denial of access to European territory for people on the move.
The establishment of EU border agency Frontex in May 2005 gave the EU and its member states a new means of enforcing those policies. Fifteen years later, Frontex has had its remit, powers and budget expanded multiple times. In the years to come it will take on an increasingly-prominent role in guarding ‘Fortress Europe’, whose walls – both physical and digital – now run along Europe’s borders, within its territory, and extend to countries thousands of miles away.

Stefan, from the German Trade Union Confederation (DGB âDeutscher Gewerkschaftsbund), represents the Workers group in Eurofoundâs tripartite management structure. He is currently based in Brussels where he is Head of DGBâs EU Liaison Office.
In response to his election, he announced: âI am pleased that the tripartite representation from the 27 EU Member States elected me as Chair of Eurofoundâs Management Board. I take up this position as Eurofound embarks on a new four-year programme of work,

Stefan Gran has been elected Chair of Eurofound’s Management Board during the third meeting of the Board on 6 November 2020. He takes over from outgoing chair Aviana Bulgarelli, Ministry of Labour and Social Policies (Ministero del Lavoro, della Salute), Italy.
