Dean Kirk of Brompton Place, Kings Lynn, Norfolk to appear at Leicester Magistratesâ Court after officers assaulted during illegal music event in Pickworth

A 25-year-old man is due to appear at Leicester Magistratesâ Court tomorrow (Friday, March 5) after police officers were assaulted during an incident in Rutland.
Dean Kirk, of Brompton Place, Kings Lynn, Norfolk, has been charged with five counts of assaulting emergency workers.
He has also been charged with two counts of criminal damage, one count of failing to leave land used in a rave and a further charge of using threatening/abusive/insulting words/behaviour with intent to cause fear of/provoke unlawful violence.

Tip-off led to Lynn man being caught drink-driving from Hunstanton
Police acting on a tip-off stopped a drink-driver in Lynn.
Information had been received that Dean Jason Kirk had been drinking at a yacht club in Hunstanton.
The 25-year-old was pulled over on the A149 Queen Elizabeth Way and failed a roadside breath test.

In custody he blew 44 micrograms of alcohol in 100 milliltres of breath; the legal limit is 35.
Kirk was also found to not have a full licence in the incident on May 21.
Lynn Magistrates Court heard that Kirk, of Brompton Place, Wisbech Road, was last in court in April for driving without a licence.
