Derbyshire Live understands that two serving officers with the force were fined by Leicestershire Police late on Sunday night, February 7, or in the early hours of Monday morning, February 8. A source who spoke to Derbyshire Live said the pair, who both live near the border between Derbyshire and Leicestershire, were fined after on-duty police officers in the neighbouring county spotted them meeting up. Derbyshire Live understands that both officers were off-duty when they were found.
