Fellow staff burst into Nikki Stark s classroom Monday morning, May 10, with cow bells, balloons and flowers to announce her as the 2021 Pequot Lakes Teacher of the Year.
Stark was caught off guard as the honor was kept a secret. Her surprise was visible to her students and the staff gathered in her classroom at Pequot Lakes High School.

A Denmark-based-Ghanaian educationist and lecturer at the Aalborg Universitet Dr. Hanan Lassen Zakaria have called for the involvement of parents in the education of their wards at all stages of education.
This, Dr. Hanan observed would help improve students performance and also make the education system more participatory.
Dr. Hanan observed this as part of remarks he gave during a review meeting of the Professional Learning, Communities, and Coaching (PLCC) project on Thursday, April 8, 2021, at the Tamale College of Education.
The one-year pilot project dubbed Strengthening Basic School Teacher Quality through Professional Learning, Communities and Coaching (PLCC) is being implemented by the College (TACE ) with funding support from the Commonwealth of Learning (CoL).

New Delhi: Times Professional Learning (TPL) has partnered with the Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana-National Urban Livelihoods Mission (DAY-NULM) under the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, Government of Madhya Pradesh, to impart skill training to youth. TPL has successfully trained 1686 youth in 15 districts and established 15 skill development centres till FY 2019-20 in the state. TPL has provided skills in Information Communication Technology, BFSI, IT-ITES, Banking & Accounting, Banking Financial Services & Insurance, Constriction, Garment Making, Tourism & Hospitality, Plumbing, and Health Care. The skill training was conducted among the youth from rural areas with a minimum requirement that the student have passed HSC.
