Richard Glenn, 55, was sent back to the UK due to his behaviour on the trip and later fired from Longridge Towers, a £29,000-a-year co-educational boarding school near the Scottish borders in Northumberland, the hearing was told. As head of sixth form at the school, he had been chosen as the sole member of staff to accompany pupils on the trip to Costa Rica which was led by an external company between July 5 and July 11 2019.
