NDO – Although the COVID-19 epidemic has had a significant negative impact on socio-economic operation since the beginning of 2020, national digital conversion in a number of countries has taken place in a stronger and more comprehensive manner, especially in economic, commercial, educational, cultural, administrative and transportation activities. Young people join hands to keep Central Highlands green

Tree-planting projects to protect the environment have become increasingly popular among young people from HCM City.
Their projects have not only contributed to increasing forest coverage on barren hills but also brought economic benefits to local people.
The project Garden-Forest was launched by JOY (Journey Of Youth) - a volunteer group in collaboration with the group named Planting one million trees per year and Bù Gia Mập National Park to plant trees on farmers land in Central Highlands provinces.
Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc has assigned the Ministry of Health to supply 15 tonnes of Chloramine B and 15 million water purification tablets, free of charge, from the national reserves to certain provinces and ministries to serve the COVID-19 fight.

Vietnam eyes 500 hi-tech manufacturers

Vietnam eyes to have 500 manufacturers of hi-tech products and 200 agriculture companies using hi-tech applications as of 2030.
The government also targets to increase the export value of hi-tech products to about 60 percent of the total export value in the manufacturing and processing industry, according to National High-Tech Development Program 2030 recently issued by Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc.
It also seeks to develop and master 20 high technologies as part of a tech list prioritized for investment and development in the region.
Funding for the program comes from state coffers, organizations and private companies.
