The naan has a perfect integration of tradition and modernity, said Norov, secretary-general of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO).
Corps Commander praises Rangers for maintaining law, order in Sindh

KARACHI: The passing out parade of Basic Recruits Training Course-28 was held at Rangers Training Centre and School Karachi. The Corps Commander Karachi, Lieutenant General Nadeem Ahmed Anjum, was the chief guest on the occasion. Due to Covid-19 safety protocol DG Rangers Sindh and some officers attended the ceremony.
According to ISPR, the corps commander reviewed the parade and gave away prizes to the distinguished recruits. Lieutenant General Anjum appreciated the training standards, agility and dedication of the Sindh Rangers to maintain law and order in Karachi, Interior Sindh and to secure borders.
Japanese envoy praises polio workers

Islamabad: Ambassador of Japan Matsuda Kuninori appreciated the start of the nationwide immunisation campaign for a polio-free Pakistan and said he was hopeful that the drive would be implemented successfully. I hope that the [anti-polio vaccination] campaign will be implemented successfully and it will lead to a polio-free Pakistan in the near future, he said in a message.
Targeting more than 40 million children under the age of five, the anti-polio campaign began in the country on Monday and will continue until April 2.
The Japanese ambassador paid tribute to the polio workers and hoped that those workers would be safe from COVID-19 amid the growing third wave.
