In honor of Earth Day on April 22 and National Park Week from April 17 to April 25, American Airlines customers will have the opportunity to donate AAdvantage miles to the National Park Foundation through the airline’s new Miles for Our Planet initiative. Starting on April 17, AAdvantage members can donate their miles to organizations that protect and preserve our planet’s natural resources and help to combat climate change. The initiative made possible through the airline s new partnership with the National Park Foundation, which aims to encourage exploration of the natural wonders, historic sites, cultural treasures, and national parks across the country.

BETHEL TOWNSHIP, Mich. â Michigan State Police troopers are asking the public for information on a woman seen walking near the scene of an arson last week.
It happened about 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 7 in the 200 block of Kosmerick and Clearwater Road in Bethel Township in Branch County, according to a news release Monday.
Bronson Fire Department and MSP Marshall Post troopers were dispatched to an excavator that was on fire.
Troopers say the excavator was unoccupied and parked in a nearby farm field when the fire happened.

COLLEGE STATION, Texas Central Texas Veterans Affairs is now administering COVID-19 vaccinations to all veterans, caregivers and spouses. The move is an important step toward the VA s goal of protecting military professionals from the deadly Coronavirus.
Under the SAVE LIVES Act, an eligible Veteran is define as anyone who has served in the U.S. military. An eligible spouse, same-sex and common-law marriages included, are also eligible to receive a vaccination from the VA. Widows and widowers may also receive one.
An eligible caregiver is any family member or friend who provides assistance and extended care to any Veteran.
