How did I miss this? A new restaurant coming to Fargo, and I didn’t hear about it? Shame on me. I’m in the loop now though, and I am beyond excited for this prospect. 701 Eateries, which will be opening in the historic part of Fargo, is gathering a large amount of hype. The restaurant is set to open this May, and will feature a rooftop patio open year round. But that’s not all.
It features two levels, one of which is called Camp Lone Tree and has a very outdoorsy feel to it. The main level, Prairie Kitchen, has food that draws comparisons to Grandma’s homestyle cooking. The restaurant also incorporates aspects of Scandinavian culture, and have even brought along experts to help guide the process of everything Scandinavian. Restaurant co-owner Shelby Terstriep had this to say:
After two years of construction, a former laundromat in one of Fargo's oldest neighborhoods is preparing to open as a unique, Midwest-themed restaurant.
