The website platform, owned by West Corporation, sent out notifications about the outage to platform users, like Norwalk, last week saying the technical difficulties are likely related to hardware failure and not any form of cybersecurity breach. On Feb. 9 a new update was issued saying service was restored to the hosting platforms but some latency may still occur causing websites to load slower than usual.
