May 25 FORT WORTH An Arlington murder suspect captured in January 2020 in Louisiana has been returned to Tarrant County to face charges in the killing of her boyfriend.
Leah Noelle Franklin was booked into the Fort Worth Jail on Sunday after being extradited from Shreveport, Louisiana, where she was arrested in January 2020.
Franklin is charged with murder in the stabbing death of her boyfriend, Antonio Merle, 30, on Jan. 11, 2020, in the 5700 block of Prescott Drive in Arlington, according to Arlington police and the Tarrant County Medical Examiner s Office.

PORTLAND, Ore. Officers were called to the area of Northeast 134th Avenue and Prescott Drive around 3:40 Tuesday afternoon for a report of someone stealing a landscaping truck and assaulting the driver, the Portland Police Bureau (PPB) said in a news release.
Police said the victim was filling up a lawnmower with fuel when the suspect, later identified as 30-year-old Benjamin Hendricks, kicked him, causing him to fall and hit his head on the concrete. He was taken to a hospital but is expected to recover.
