ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – President Dr Arif Alvi Sunday expressed his deep grief and sorrow over the death of veteran leader of Awami National Party (ANP) Begum Naseem Wali Khan.
The president, in his condolence message, prayed for the departed soul and for the bereaved family to bear the loss with equanimity.
He also expressed sympathies with the bereaved family over her death.
The president said that late Begum’s political contributions would be remembered for long.
On the other hand, Minister of State for Information and broadcasting, Farrukh Habib also condoled the sad demise of former Provincial President of Awami National Party (ANP), Begum Nasim Wali Khan who died due to protracted illness in Charsadda district.

This also makes it the highest number of coronavirus deaths reported this year, a worrying sign of the third wave of the coronavirus intensifying across the country.
The country s highest death toll from the virus to date was recorded on June 19, 2020 when 153 people died.
As per the official statistics issued by the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC), 6,127 new positive cases have been reported during the 24 hours after 71,836 tests were conducted across the country.

LAHORE: President Dr Arif Alvi Sunday said the economy was strengthening with every passing day because of a comprehensive policy of the government.
He expressed these views while addressing a ceremony as a chief guest at the final polo match of Master Paints Jinnah Gold Cup 2021 tournament played at Jinnah Polo and Country Club here.
The team of Diamond Paints won the tournament after defeating DS Polo/ASC by eight to seven goals in a closely contested final match.
