The Filipinos, though, had to go through the eye of the needle before claiming the title and the top prize of $140,000 (around P6.7 million).

Coach Dale to NXP? Dogie says an offer was made, but there s a problem

It seems like former Smart Omega coach Steven “DaleDalus” Vitug is headed to Nexplay Solid.  Popular streamer and NXP cornerstone Akosi Dogie bared through his latest vlog that he already talked with DaleDalus and gave him an offer to coach the team for the upcoming MPL Philippines Season 7.  “In-offeran ko na si DaleDalus. Tinawagan ko na siya lahat-lahat (I already sent an offer to DaleDalus and called him),” Dogie said in his vlog posted on his Youtube channel on Friday night.  Daledalus earlier told Bulletin that he is set to lead another squad in the upcoming MPL Season 7, but did not disclose the name of the team.

Published February 2, 2021, 8:42 PM Photo from Omega Esports Facebook page  Smart Omega has parted ways with its longtime Mobile Legends: Bang Bang coach Steven “DaleDalus” Vitug on Tuesday night, February 2.  “We are announcing the departure of Coach Dale as our coach. Although we have to walk a different path, the friendship that we built will never end,” the esports organization said in a statement posted on its Facebook page.  Daedalus, 24, steered Omega’s campaign in the recently concluded M2 Mobile Legends: Bang Bang World Championship held in Singapore.  The MPL Philippines Season 6 runner-up swept its matches in the group stage for an upper bracket spot but failed to win a series and even a single game in the playoffs, resulting in a 5th-6th place finish in the 12-team world tournament which was won by fellow Filipino team Bren Esports.
