Gabbie Plain struck out 12 in a two-hit shutout over five innings and Baylee Klingler had a home run and three RBIs to lead the No. 6 Huskies in an 8-0 run-rule win over the No. 4 Ducks on Friday afternoon in Seattle. It was a season-high in strikeouts by Oregon (27-6, 6-4 Pac-12), which dropped its fourth straight, all to top 10 opponents. It was UO’s first run-rule loss since the 2019 season finale and its most strikeouts since March 23, 2019, also against Washington.
