Toyota s Good Luck Has Finally Run Out

Hennessey Is Ready For The EV Revolution

Enthusiasts want more power, and tuners big and small will bring it to them. It seems a new manufacturer (rightly) jumps on the electrified bandwagon every day. Jaguar has promised to electrify its fleet, Audi is taking its bread-and-butter A4 and A5 are adding volts and Volkswagen, well, you know what it did. But right now, it seems like we re at polar ends as enthusiasts. There are cheaper hybrid and electric vehicles like the Toyota Prius and VW ID.4, and then insane electric supercars like the Porsche Taycan and McLaren P1. But in a decade or two, when the kids are driving used Nissan Leafs and Toyota Priuses and Chevy Bolts, what will they be able to do improve performance, beyond tires and suspension?

Toyota CEO Has A New Warning For Apple

Apple should listen. Tech giant Apple has caught the auto industry s attention over the past several weeks following reports it nearly struck a deal with Hyundai Motor Group to build the long-awaited Apple car. The South Korean automaker opted out because it did not want to become the manufacturer for a potential rival. Apple then approached Nissan but the Japanese carmaker also walked away. Apple has not given up on its automotive dreams and last we heard it was in talks with auto parts supplier Magna, which will build the upcoming Fisker Ocean EV, about a possible deal. Apple does not manufacture its own hardware devices either but rather farms that task out to firms like Foxconn.
