Closing this road, that leads to Seshadripuram, may create problems for motorists, post the lockdown. The civic body has not acquired the properties needed to build the flyover, yet, and is far from completing the construction. The BBMP needs to acquire about four properties, which are double or quadruple storied buildings, to construct the 500 metres long flyover. It offered to provide transferable development rights (TDR) as compensation in exchange for the properties but the land owners did not agree.
