The first Ferretti Yachts 1000, the shipyard’s first 100% wide-body vessel with ‘Made in Italy’ craftsmanship, has been launched in Cattolica for a French owner.
The launch represents the culmination of a design process driven by the quest for perfection:
extraordinary investments in Research and Development, thousands of hours of naval design, long-term mould prototyping at the
Plug & Mould factory in Forlì, and the equally long and delicate
construction phase at the Cattolica shipyard. The result is a remarkable new flagship made up of talent and technology, the ability to innovate and craftsmanship.

The 49.9-metre yacht
Fifty has been launched by Riva in Arcona, Italy. She is the second unit in Riva’s 50 Metri line after
Race from 2019. A third hull is currently in build and is expected to be completed in 2022.
The just-built yacht features an exterior and interior styling by Bergamo-based designer Mauro Micheli and is a collaboration between Officina Italiana Design, the firm founded by Mauro Micheli and Sergio Beretta, and Riva’s Product Strategy Committee led by Mr. Piero Ferrari.
The team behind the 50 Metri model says the 498 GT yacht is “inspired by the genius of Carlo Riva”. Specifically, she is a celebration of the Caravelle and Atlantic series motor yachts of the 1960s and 70s. With a maximum beam of nine metres, the motor yacht was built to a brief that champions comfortable cruising, attention to detail and a new vision of life at sea.
