DMK leader MK Stalin, who will be sworn in as Tamil Nadu chief minister on Friday at a simple function in Raj Bhavan, will head a 34-member ministry.
He has retained the portfolio of Public, General Administration, Home, Special Initiatives, Special Programme Implementation and Welfare of Differently abled persons, according to a State government release.

CHENNAI: DMK chief MK Stalin will take oath as chief minister of Tamil Nadu at 9am on Friday . A total of 33 ministers will be part of his cabinet.
“MK Stalin, the chief minister-designate has sent a list of persons to be appointed as ministers of the state of Tamil Nadu along with their portfolios on Thursday,” a release from Raj Bhavan said.
Governor Banwarilal Purohit has approved the recommendations made by Stalin regarding persons to be appointed as ministers and their portfolios.
Stalin s son Udhayanidhi s name doesn t appear on the list. There are only two women on the list.
A total of 34 DMK lawmakers will be sworn in as Ministers at Raj Bhavan on Friday morning including DMK President M.K. Stalin as the next Chief Minister. According to Raj Bhavan, Stalin had sent a list of persons to be appointed as Ministers along with their portfolios on Thursday. Stalin s Cabinet will have two women. The Ministerial list does not include Stalin s son Udhayanidhi Stalin who has won from Chepauk-Thiruvallikeni. The list of Ministers: M.K. A day after Tamil Nadu Governor Banwarilal Purohit appointed DMK president MK Stalin as the state s chief minister and invited him to form government, the chief minister-designate has released a list of 34 ministers who will be part of his cabinet.
The list containing names and portfolios of the ministers has been sent to the Governor for his approval.
