A 71-year-old Roxbury man has been charged with murdering a woman in an Egleston Square apartment, according to Boston police.
Alan Washington is charged in connection with the homicide of 58-year-old Tanya Malone, who was found suffering from apparent traumatic injuries on Tuesday night, police said in a statement. Malone was found in the area of 1990 Columbus Ave., the site of Boston Housing Authority s Walnut Park development.
Washington is set to be arraigned in Roxbury District Court, police said. The incident remains under investigation.
