In a statement, a Metro spokesman did not specify which gaming venue was the scene of the holdup. He did confirm the robbery took place at a casino in the 3700 block on South Las Vegas Boulevard. The Cosmopolitan is located at 3708 South Las Vegas Boulevard.

The Texas duo who were arrested last week in connection with shootings on Las Vegas Boulevard are scheduled to appear in local court on Monday for multiple charges. They came into Nevada with a “bag of guns” and were charged on Wednesday, Metro police revealed.

Phillip Nichols, 25, was arrested on 18 charges. He was being held on $250,000 bail late last week. Ledaxjia Montgomery, 19, was arrested on 17 charges. She was being held on $20,000 bail late last week.
An unnamed man was apparently kidnapped earlier this week from Connecticut’s Mohegan Sun Casino, according to a state police social media post.

He was driven some 15 miles from the tribal casino to a borough identified as Jewett City. It is part of Griswold, Connecticut. There, he was allegedly robbed and assaulted by two men.
