Chandigarh, April 26 : Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Monday said there was no shortage of oxygen in the state, while the government quota for Remdesivir has been set up.
After visiting an oxygen plant at the refinery in Panipat to take stock of the situation, he said private hospitals were being monitored. The government is getting oxygen as per the quota. Strict directions have been given to check black marketing.
The Chief Minister also visited the site where a 500-bed Covid-19 hospital is to be set up in Panipat with an initial provision of 250 beds that will be ready in three days. The entire hospital will be commissioned in 15 days.

Chandigarh, Mar 4: The budget session of the Haryana Assembly beginning Friday is likely to be stormy with the Congress geared up to corner the ruling BJP-JJP coalition over law and order and the Centre’s new farm legislation, while the government is set to bring a possibly contentious “anti-conversion” bill.
The session will begin with Governor Satyadeo Narain Arya s address. Khattar, who also holds the finance portfolio, will present the budget on March 10. Leader of Opposition Bhupinder Singh Hooda has announced that the Congress will bring a no-confidence motion against the government.

Haryana Director-General of Police Manoj Yadava, who was due to return to central deputation, will continue in his post for another year, as per a notification issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA).

The state government, after issuing orders of his extension in January this year, had written to the MHA seeking a one-year extension of his tenure.
On deputation from IB to his parent cadre, Yadava, was to serve in Haryana for a two-year term beginning February 2019.
Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar had, on Monday, said that Yadava would continue to be the police chief.
Presiding over a meeting of a drafting committee, Vij said the enactment of this law will prevent any attempt to get religious conversion by force, inducement, bluff of marriage or by any other unethical methods by anyone in the state
