An officer-involved shooting in Minneapolis Uptown neighborhood is under investigation, and has brought a large law enforcement presence as well as crowds to the scene.
Few details are currently available, but the incident unfolded Thursday afternoon at a parking ramp located in the area of West Lake Street and Girard Avenue, adjacent to what was formerly known as Calhoun Square.
The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension said its agents were en route to an officer involved shooting that occurred at the site, promising more details to come. ATF St. Paul also said it is responding to a police shooting, though a spokesperson told Bring Me The News the agency wasn t involved in the incident, and is currently providing investigative assistance at the scene.
