Capital police donates blood for Thalassemia patients
Islamabad, March 13, 2021 (PPI-OT): The personnel of Islamabad Capital Territory police on Saturday donated blood to facilitate the Thalassemia patients in wake of prevailing coronavirus spread. A blood donation camp was arranged by Nawal Trust in collaboration with Pakistan Red Crescent (PRC), here at police lines headquarters.
PRC Chairman Abrar-ul-Haq along with IGP Islamabad Qazi Jameel-ur-Rehman, SP Headquarters Arif Hussain Shah, Principal Training Center DSP Tahir Khan and others visited the camp to encourage the donors.
Expressing his gratitude to Islamabad cops, Abrar-ul-Haq said capital police always showed sympathy and compassion towards this noble cause. The role of Islamabad police to serve mankind had always been exemplary and a large number of participation in the camp was an evident of that.
ITP adopts modern technology to facilitate the masses
Islamabad, March 14, 2021 (PPI-OT): Islamabad Traffic police have adopted modern technology to provide best services to the citizens. According to details, following the direction of IG Islamabad Qazi Jameel-ur-Rehman, SSP Traffic Farrukh Rashid has introduced modern technological services such as issuance of online appointment system, SMS alert and smart driving license for the convenience of citizens.
Meanwhile, the use of speed-checking cameras has significantly reduced traffic accidents. Moreover, to ensure compliance with traffic rules a special campaign namely “SAFER ROADS” (safe roads) was launched which was aimed to have a check on violation such as tinted glass papers, un-authorized number plates, high beams and certain other violations.
Islamabad Police committed to solve public issue on priority
Islamabad, March 14, 2021 (PPI-OT): Islamabad Police is committed to solve public issues on priority basis. These views expressed by SP (City Zone) Muhammad Omer Khan while addressing the people at `Open Kutchery’ held at G-7 Markaz UC 31 area of Aabpara police station.
The SP (City Zone) said that people should identify the elements in the police or in their surroundings supporting the anti-social activities so that action could be initiated against them. He urged people to cooperate with police to ensure effective policing in the area. He said that disciplinary action would be taken against those policemen involved in sluggish policing.

It was stated by Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Qazi Jamil ur Rehman while addressing a ceremony held at Central Police Office (CPO) in connection with International Women’s Day. The female cops, on the occasion, participated in the shooting and other demonstrations.
The IGP appreciated females serving in Islamabad police and other fields of life. He said those nations respecting women are successful as they maintain bonds of a family with the society and give its members sense as how to behave in outer world.
Police step up efforts to transform Islamabad into crime free capital: SSP
Islamabad, March 09, 2021 (PPI-OT): Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Operations Dr Syed Mustafa Tanveer on Tuesday said the force has renewed efforts to transform Islamabad into a crime free capital. All resources would be utilized to secure the lives and properties of citizens, he said in a statement issued here. He said that, in last 24 hours, ICT Police arrested 12 criminals including two members of a snatcher’s gang and recovered snatched cash, kites, strings and weapons from their possession.
