Driver’s unfamiliarity with road factor in multi-vehicle crash in Skowhegan, police say
Police said 2 people were sent to the hospital with injuries that were not considered life threatening after two vehicles collided.

An older model Chevrolet pickup operated by Skowhegan resident Ricky Pease, 54, was damaged Tuesday when a Honda Civic operated by Ever Josue Funes Cruz, 24, of North Carolina crashed into him after Cruz failed to stop on the south part of East Ridge Road in Skowhegan, according to authorities.

SKOWHEGAN A driver’s lack of familiarity with the road is believed to be a factor in a crash Tuesday evening that sent two to the hospital with injuries that were not considered life-threatening.
