MUMBAI: Before a 21-year-old commerce graduate could end his life, the Mumbai cyber police team at Bandra-Kurla Complex (BKC) stayed back overnight on the intervening night of February 15 and 16 and tracked him down to his Borivli home and got him counselled.
The youth had planned to end his life and posted the suicide content on his Facebook page as he was severely depressed due to the loss of his parents and the torture he has been undergoing at the hands of his step-mother.
A timely alert sent by a Dadar resident helped the police to save the youth’s live within four hours of the search operation.
Unable to cope after the death of his parents, a youth in Mumbai posted a suicide note on social media. The youth s life was saved after cyber cops reached his home and counselled him.

NEW DELHI: Intensifying its probe in the toolkit case, the Delhi Police on Tuesday sought details from video conferencing platform Zoom on the participants of the January 11 meeting by a pro-Khalistan group, while investigators were also looking into the funding aspect, sources said.
Meanwhile, the Delhi Commission for Women sent a notice to the city police on the arrest of climate activist Disha Ravi in the case and sought a report by Friday on issues like why she was allegedly not provided a lawyer of her choice when produced before a court.
