The owner of the Grimsby shop that was caught selling stolen goods has withdrawn an application to transfer the shop s licence.
The licence change concerned Cartergate News and Wine, and was set to go before a council sub-committee meeting this Thursday.
Jeyathevi Rameshkumar, whose husband, Thambiah, owns Cartergate News and Wine, originally applied to the council to become the new licence holder and designated premises supervisor for the store.
