SALT LAKE CITY Police in Cache County arrested a man who they say became so angry that a convenience store wouldn’t sell him beer for $1 that employees had to lock him out of the store.
The 47-year-old man entered a convenience store in North Park Monday night and “demanded” that an employee sell him beer, a police booking affidavit states.
But the man only offered to pay $1.
“The employee said to the male that $1 wasn’t enough to purchase the beer. Employee stated after being told he couldn’t purchase the beer, the male became belligerent and started yelling and smacking things,” according to the affidavit.
