Kolkata: At least four police personnel were injured in a clash between supporters of Trinamool and BJP at Jagaddal on Saturday. The miscreants lobbed crude bombs at the cops when the latter tried to stop the fight. Ten people have been arrested.
Sources said trouble broke out on Friday night after some miscreants fired several rounds at BJP leader Lalbabu Prasad’s house on Palghat Road. BJP alleged Trinamool-backed goons were responsible while Trinamool leaders said the firing was the fallout of rivalry between BJP groups.
On Saturday, the clash broke out during an agitation by BJP men to protest against the shooting.
