Man who defecated in Bournemouth police cell appears in court

Picture: Google Maps/ Street View A MAN who caused £50 worth of damage to a Bournemouth police cell by defecating in it has appeared in court. Matthew William House, aged 47 and of no fixed abode, was charged with two counts of criminal damage relating to incidents on January 13. The defendant, who was in the dock at Poole Magistrates Court the day after the offences, admitted damaging the front windows and automatic doors at The Job Centre in Cotlands Road, Bournemouth. He also confessed to damaging the Bournemouth Police Station custody cell. Magistrates ordered House to pay £200 compensation to The Job Centre and £50 compensation to Dorset Police.
