A 20-year-old Detroit resident was shot in the foot Monday night after two men approached his vehicle.
The man was sitting in a parked vehicle on Francis Street near 15th Street when he was approached by two white males about 11 p.m., said Port Huron Police Assistant Chief Marcy Kuehn. The victim was ordered out of his vehicle and when he failed to comply, one of the suspects pulled out a handgun.
The victim attempted to drive away when the suspect fired, striking the vehicle multiple times. One of the rounds entered the passenger compartment, striking the victim in the foot.

The Marysville Police Department, in conjunction with the Port Huron Police Department’s Major Crimes Unit, is seeking the public’s help in locating two burglary suspects. Authorities say the suspects targeted the Village Clean Laundry center in the 2300 block of Gratiot Boulevard in Marysville twice over the past month. The first incident occurred around 10pm on January 29th and the second occurred in the 5am hour on February 14th. In both instances the suspects removed coins from vending machines and attempted to break into bill changing machines. Those who may recognize either suspect is asked to contact Marysville Police at 364-6300.

PORT HURON, MI Police have identified a suspect in the June homicide of a man found deceased aboard a former U.S. Navy ship docked in Port Huron.
Port Huron police announced Tuesday, Dec. 15 that a felony warrant has been issued for a 43-year-old man investigators believe killed 44-year-old William M. Orlow.
Officers with the Port Huron Police Department responded around 11:15 a.m. June 23 to the USNSCS Grayfox, 60 Griswold St., regarding a deceased person.
Police found Orlow deceased on the ship, though he was not identified until July 1.
Police seek dangerous suspect in slaying of man on Navy vessel
Port Huron Police are looking for a suspect believed to be responsible for the June death of a 44-year-old man whose body was found on a retired Navy training vessel.
An arrest warrant has been issued for Reginald Cu-Nu Grasty, 43, on two counts of Open Murder and Disinterment/Mutilation of a Corpse in the slaying of William Michael Orlow. Police describe Grasty as 5-foot-10, 190 lbs, with black hair and brown eyes, according to a release from Port Huron Police Department.
“We believe this person to be a dangerous person,” Captain Marcy Kuehn said in the statement, and we want to get him off the streets.”
