Nova Scotia Public Health says anyone who was aboard two Marine Atlantic ferry crossings earlier this month may have been exposed to COVID-19. They’re asking passengers aboard the MV Blue Puttees departing North Sydney at 11:45 the morning of April 1 to book a COVID test immediately. They say anyone exposed to the virus on that crossing may develop symptoms up to, and including, April 15. Public health is also advising anyone aboard the Blue Puttees departing Port-aux-Basques at 12:30 the afternoon of April 6 to get tested as soon as possible. They says anyone exposed to the virus on that trip may develop symptoms up to, and including, April 20.

Nova Scotia Health Public Health is advising of potential exposure to COVID-19 on two Marine Atlantic ferry crossings. Anyone who was on the following Marine Atlantic ferry crossings are asked to immediately visit to book a COVID-19 test, regardless of whether or not they have COVID-19 symptoms. You can also call 811 if you don’t have online access or if you have other symptoms that concern you. If you do not have any symptoms of COVID-19 you do not need to self-isolate while you wait for your test result. If you have symptoms of COVID-19 you are required to self-isolate while you wait for your test result.
