Marine Atlantic says the MV Blue Puttees has returned to regular service after it was taken out of service when two crew members tested positive for COVID-19. The Crown Corporation says all employees now working on the ferry have tested negative for COVID through two separate tests. The Blue Puttees was tied up in North Sydney with crew members isolating onboard while they waited for test results.

The new case is a man under 40 in the Eastern Health region. The Department of Health says it has completed contact tracing, and that the case is related to international travel.
