Stamford Art Association Call for Artistic Celebration of Motherhood Written by es gordon Entry Deadline:  Opening: May 1-30, 2021 4pm on Zoom The Stamford Art Association (SAA) and The Connecticut Society of Portrait Artists (CSOPA) have partnered to create a special event paying tribute to mothers. The online exhibition, Artistic Celebration of Motherhood, is a multi-media event featuring original art ranging from classic portraiture to abstract expressionism. Each of the sponsors will exhibit a display of their artwork with a link to the other organization s artwork. This is a multimedia juried exhibit with cash prizes. SAA is asking artists to submit 1-5 pieces of artwork on the theme of Motherhood. If you are entering with a painting, drawing or sculpture of classic representational portraits, you must enter through the CSOPA website, here.
